Racism through emerging media: a reflection on the soft function of Israelis

Abstract
Media are potent tools for transferring data and meanings. They have a high ability to express the mentality and thoughts of their audience. Israel is an ideological country that uses mass media to spread and instill its political ideology, and ethnic and racial superiority. The Israeli media and Zionist racism are constantly seeking to reproduce the hidden discourse behind the political ideology of Israel. The following article aims to analyze the relationship between political ideology and mass media in Israel. It follows the hypothesis that Israeli media is the basic tool for reproducing the center of Israeli political ideology that is Zionist racism. The article primarily uses the approaches of Teun Adrianus van Dijk and Norman Fairclough.
