Participation in elections and voting is one of the most important components of citizens' political behavior. In explaining how citizens participate, voting preferences and quality of decision making in selecting and voting for election candidates, there are three sociological models and theoretical approaches, psychological-political approach and rational-economic choice approach. The present article while analyzing and evaluating these three categories of theories and in response to the question that in the Zionist regime, the electoral behavior of citizens can be explained by which of the models and theoretical bases? It emphasizes on this hypothesis that electoral behavior and voting is a time-grown, context-grown and place-grown phenomenon, and therefore it is not possible to achieve a universal hypothesis that explains why, how and the content of voting in all constituencies within a geographical unit, including the Zionist regime analyzed and evaluated based on that and to measure the effectiveness of the factors affecting voting preferences in this regime, it is necessary to take advantage of consolidated views in this regard. The general finding of the research is that electoral behavior in the Zionist regime is a function of economic-social factors, achieving security, religious and ideological values, personal characteristics of the party leader, stance towards compromise negotiations with Palestine, and the ethnic preferences of the voters.
