Abstract
The Islamic Revolution demonstrated its most significant global impact through Islamization and making it central to struggles. One of the major cultural and social challenges between Iran and the U.S. is their differing religious beliefs. Visualizing these challenges over the next decade helps policymakers adjust their plans and resources to address future opportunities and threats.
This study, using qualitative and quantitative content analysis and examining 27 sources, identified 12 cultural and 12 social challenges. Among these are the export of Islamic revolutionary ideology, Iran’s expanding regional influence, efforts toward Islamic awakening, and the promotion of an Islamic-Iranian lifestyle—key reasons behind U.S. hostility toward Iran. Additionally, America’s cultural offensive against Iran will intensify in the coming decade. Conversely, Iran challenges U.S. culture and social issues, prompting the U.S. to target Iran’s culture of resistance and social dynamics in response.

The study concludes that the mental and psychological frameworks of the two countries' leaders are rooted in cultural and social confrontation, which will perpetuate tensions in bilateral relations.
