Iranian Jews, as a minority group, have a long and complex history; in particular, immigration to Israel in the contemporary era has had a special impact on their fate. After the victory of the Islamic Revolution and the change in the nature of relations between the Islamic Republic of Iran and Israel from long-standing friendship to deep enmity, it has always been important for both sides to know and be aware of each other's political and social developments. This research uses the "pull and push theory" to examine the context and reasons for the immigration of Iranian Jews to Israel and why a significant portion of them prefer to immigrate to America and Europe within a framework different from the classical Zionist narratives. The pull and push theory examines the political, economic, social, and cultural factors that have caused this minority's desire or reluctance to immigrate to Israel. The research method is a case study and focuses on the analysis of historical and documentary data. The findings of this research show that the choice of immigration destination for Iranian Jews is influenced by cultural, political, and economic factors rather than being purely ideological. In addition to the efforts of Zionist institutions to attract Iranian Jews, the secular and apolitical attitude of Iranian Jews, the political-economic conditions, and better opportunities in America and Europe have played an important role in choosing a destination for immigration.
