Abstract
After the Second World War, the Palestinian issue remained one of the unresolved issues of the Middle East region, and for years the United States of America maintained its presence and role in this geography by supporting the Zionist regime. However, the recent developments in the Middle East and the beginning of the massive war in Gaza after the October 7 attacks by Hamas in the occupied territories was a turning point that brought this region into a new path and a new order, and made the belief in the American-centered regional order face very fundamental challenges. Washington seems to be very weak and helpless in controlling regional developments and events that have been denied by state and non-state actors, and it can no longer implement a unipolar order in this geography. The new order, which is the result of a network of efforts by governmental and non-governmental actors including Hamas, has left no room for American leadership and heralds an order with new rules and principles. In this article, by mentioning the preliminaries raised, we are looking for the basic question, what effect will the war in Gaza have on the order of the Middle East region and the leadership position of the United States?
