Abstract
The existence of diverse intellectual spectrums in Iranian society, along with different beliefs and opinions, especially in the middle class, as well as cognitive warfare and distortion of narratives by foreigners, has made it necessary to explain some issues objectively and scientifically in order to resolve existing intellectual doubts. Among them, the regional policies of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and specifically the policy of supporting the axis of resistance and limiting by proxy the two elements threatening the Zionist regime, namely territorial expansionism and racism, is an issue that, in addition to its ideological and idealistic importance in defending the oppressed and Muslims, requires analysis and investigation from the perspective of the country's national interests and national security, in order to strengthen its persuasive aspect and to gain the support and cooperation of more general segments of Iranian society. This article aims to explain the geopolitical and strategic dangers of the Zionist regime for the national security of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and the research question is based on the analysis of these dangers for the country's national interests and security. At the same time, the hypothesis of this article is based on the fact that, regardless of ideological and spiritual aspects, the strategy of the Islamic Republic of Iran to contain the Zionist regime through the axis of resistance is aimed at repelling threats posed by two threatening elements of Zionism, namely territorial expansionism and racism against Iran's national security.
