Challenges Facing Iran's Foreign Policy Towards the International and Regional System in the Next Decade (Heterogeneity with International and Regional System Issues)

Abstract
The Islamic Republic of Iran system has maintained its foreign policy approaches for more than four decades. The main question of this article is to examine the challenges in Iran's foreign policy towards the international and regional system in the next decade. Reading the foreign policy of the Islamic Republic from the point of view of tensions and contradictions in policy-making with a look at the five tensions of revolutionary governments from Fred Halliday's point of view, emphasizes the need to change from this repeated approach. Halliday enumerates several stages for the foreign policy of revolutionary governments and considers the final successful transition from them, through a fundamental revision of the policies. In this research, we have investigated the upcoming crises in Iran's foreign policy in the future by using the library method and referring to the opinions of experts. The initial drawing of the structure of the international system and the regional system of West Asia by expressing the security and non-security priorities of friendly, rival or hostile actors as an upcoming reality, shapes the preliminary discussion. Then, by presenting the principles and policies of the Islamic Republic, we will discuss the future challenges. In the end, we will address the point that in order to be successful in foreign policy based on national interests, one should give in to important changes in a wise way
